Ally drained it all out of me. She knows almost every word in "Birthday Monsters" by Susan Boynton. If I could figure out how to capture a sound clip out of a quicktime movie, I would totally do it and post it here, but it's too big otherwise, because it's so cute to hear her say "raiding the refrigerator" I say the first 1 or 2 words on the page, and she says the rest. There aren't that many words on each page, but still...
Last night, I decided to see if she's committed her other current favorite to memory - Elmo Loves You (a valentine's book. Actually, Grandma Glinda and Grandpa Bob gave us both of these) It has quite a few more words in the book, and some more subtle illustrations of them. I was amazed. No wonder she has suck a vocabulary.
I knew having kids sucked out your memory, but I had no idea they got to keep it and use it themselves!
